The role of a Notary Public
The office of a Notary Public first began in the civil institutions of Rome, and is now represented by a cohesive body called The Notaries Society throughout England and Wales.
Notaries are appointed by the Court of Faculties of the Archbishop of Canterbury and are subject to regulation through the Faculty Office (for contact details please see paragraph 16 of my Terms of Business)
